| Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft | Airbag2000

Airbag 2000+Sophisticated car occupant systems like airbags and belt restraint systems are the most increasing safety devices in recent times. Although the benefits are wellknown by experts, a need of close cooperation between all interested parties is undoubtedly necessary.
Airbag 2000+ has become the world's largest airbag industry meeting place. Launched in 1992 this symposium has brought together some 850 participants from 20 nations in its 3rd edition in 1996. The success of this conference and exhibition is based on a broad variety of topics, including legislation, traffic safety, occupant risks, airbag technology and processing, environmental awareness, marketing and product liability.
The 4th Airbag 2000+ Symposium with an expanded exhibition area and meeting room in 1998 will again be the market place for engineers, scientists, legislators, managers and marketing people to exchange information, to get and to improve contacts, to stimulate further progress and to promote advanced car passenger safety systems on a neutral stage.
The Fraunhofer-Institute for Chemical Technology (ICT) is the leading independant research and development facility on airbag technology and testing. As a division of Fraunhofer, Europe's largest organization for applied and contract research ICT offers a unique and neutral event for automobil industry, suppliers and public authorities.
Welcome again in Karlsruhe, Germany, meeting the world of Airbag 2000+.
